The Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth is a government agency under the Ministry of Enterprise and Innovation.
Our focus is on fostering sustainable growth and competitiveness in all parts of Sweden. Our vision is that more businesses want to grow and have the capabilities and courage to do so. Providing knowledge, networks and funding are our main tools.

Our work benefits both businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs directly. Other initiatives are aimed at improving the overall terms and conditions that effect entrepreneurship and creating attractive environments for companies in all Swedish regions.
Based on our knowledge of the needs of businesses and of Swedish regions, we build networks to facilitate cooperation and finance efforts to boost sustainable growth.
One principal task is helping to ensure that EU funds are invested in projects that promote regional growth and employment.
The agency has approximatly 450 employees and is located in Arjeplog, Gävle, Gothenburg, Jönköping, Luleå, Malmö, Örebro and Östersund and in Stockholm (headquarter).
